Clover Fox Films is a UK and Irish independent film production company founded by producer Joe Andrews and writer-director Peter Lavery. Joe and Peter met while studying Practical Filmmaking at MetFilm School in London, where they began collaborating on short films and other creative projects. Following their graduation, they continued developing projects together before establishing Clover Fox Films in 2023. In 2024, Clover Fox Films Ireland was established to develop and oversee the company's Irish productions.
The company's work is rooted in stories about young adulthood, relationships, friendship and the complicated process of finding your place in the world. Clover Fox Films is particularly interested in distinctive voices and projects that combine emotional authenticity with a strong sense of entertainment. It's debut feature, All That Glitters, premiered at the 2026 Dublin International Film Festival.
The company is now developing a slate of feature films across the UK and Ireland.
The name Clover Fox is a playful nod to Peter’s Irish roots and Joe’s signature red hair.
JOE ANDREWS

Joe Andrews is a UK producer and co-founder of Clover Fox Films.
Originally from Worcestershire, Joe moved to London to study Practical Filmmaking at MetFilm School, graduating with First Class Honours in 2022.
Joe has worked across independent film and high-end television, developing experience across production, locations, logistics and on-set operations.
As a producer, Joe's work spans short and feature film. His producing credits include Tequila Dream, which received recognition at festivals internationally, and All That Glitters, his debut feature as producer.
Joe's producing approach combines practical production experience with a strong focus on organisation, collaboration and bringing projects from development through to completion.
PETER LAVERY
WRITER/DIRECTOR/CO-FOUNDER
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Peter is a 27-year-old emerging screenwriter and director with a passion for crafting emotionally resonant, character-driven stories. In 2019, he relocated to London to pursue filmmaking full-time, earning a BA in Practical Filmmaking from MetFilm School in 2022.
Peter’s debut short film, Tequila Dream (2021), became an award-winning success, earning Best Director at the Prague International Film Festival, Best Student Film at the Birmingham Film Festival, and Best Long Short Film at the British Short Film Awards, among others.
Building on that success, Peter developed a signature style that blends magical realism with grounded emotional storytelling. His follow-up short, Alone With You, was selected for the BAFTA-qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival and nominated for Young Filmmaker of the Year at Cinemagic Belfast.
According to Executive Producer Johnny Gogan (All That Glitters), “Peter’s unique writing is witty, poignant, and dialogue-driven comedy-drama that will make audiences laugh, cry, and squirm.”
Peter's writing has attracted interest from the likes of RTE and Britbox and he makes his directorial debut with All That Glitters, at the Dublin International Film Festival, where he is also nominated for a DIFF Discovery Award in association with Screen Ireland.
